Before any session, a health and psychological suitability assessment is done. Sound facilitators ideally follow a trauma-informed practice.
Sound Journeys are Sound Baths that take you on a guided imaginary journey. This can be your own inner journey as inner images arise during a sound journey, or a meditation journey guided by your facilitator.
As you relax in a safe space, you will be immersed in a world of sound where space and time seem to expand. The sessions take place in a safe and relaxed environment - lying down, comfortably covered with a blanket and wearing an eye mask. You will hear different sounds as the journey takes place.
During Sound journeys, we use instruments which are vibro-acoustically effective, and guide your body and mind into deep relaxation. Sound journeys also support your subconscious in releasing emotional blockages. During a sound journey, you will be immersed in a wide spectrum of sounds that will put your brain into restful, meditative states: Your brain enters a deep state of meditation, leading to relaxation and creative inspiration through entrainment and resonance states.
On a physiological level, your body benefits from various sound-related effects. Your autonomic nervous system experiences profound relaxation.
