We successfully presented our neuroacoustics & brain health project to SERI, the Swiss State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation. The project was pre-selected by the Swiss Space Office for the Swiss ISS mission 2027-2029.
We are moving into the second application cycle for the Swiss mission to the ISS international Space Station with the European Space Agency.

We were invited to the PRSM Lab of Prof. Michiel van Elk and Aidan Lyon, PhD for an interdisciplinary presentation and discussion on sound and music as a mystical, multisensory, consciousness-altering practice. From biographical to ethnocultural to neurological phenomena, we reflected on the culturally embedded practice of meditation and sound rituals. We were honored with a guest visit by Prof. Corina Greven, Chair for Environmental Sensitivity in Health, Donders Institute, Radboud University. Prof. Michiel van Elk's team leads research on psychedelic, religious, self-transcendent and mystical experiences.

United Nations UNOOSA -  The regional conference on Space Technologies for Advancing Global Health at the UN Headquarters in Vienna brings together stakeholders from international space agencies (NASA, ESA), industry, governments, and academia. The meetings focus on the peaceful use of space, strengthening the legal and regulatory framework for space technologies for global health, in particular geographic information data and systems to combat climate change and its impact on healthcare. The recommendations developed at these meetings will serve sustainable socio-economic development of global healthcare.

Dr. Lee supported the buildup of a specialized brain health fund during 2023, before resuming activities with Convergence Partners AG early 2024. On the Mental Health Panel Side Event at WEF Davos 2024 on 16th January 2024 we celebrated an ambitious kick-off campaign for the redefinition of mental health in companies, organized by Convergence Partners, Kodori Ventures, and the European Brain Council.

SWISS FORUM ON FOREIGN POLICY: 4 visions for more equity, capacity and a paradigm shift among global health systems by 2040. 

Together with the Swiss Forum on Foreign Policy foraus and  >20 authors - we call for future pandemic preparedness, presented to global health stakeholders during the 2023 World Health Assembly in Geneva.
The brief calls for improving the capacity of health systems, more efficient surveillance of infectious agents, more equitable production and distribution of pandemic countermeasures and urges the international community to address the root causes of pandemics.

YOGA + DEEP SOUND MEDITATIONS

• Movement, breathing and sound experience are the focus of this workshop. We will dive into the deeply relaxing sound bath through the body and the asana and pranayama practice. We will create a powerful combination to regenerate and balance the body, mind and spirit and release stress. 
• A sound meditation is a deeply restorative and regenerative relaxation method using gongs, singing bowls, drums and other instruments. It combines the benefits of gentle sounds and group meditation to relax the nervous system and restore inner balance.
