Speaker - Swiss Public Health Conference - 2025
Zurich Sept 2025
Sound-based Interventions as Burnout Prevention for the Workforces.
"The conference is organized by the Swiss Society for Public Health and Swiss Schools of Public Health. Professionals and researchers will convene and contribute to nurturing discussions and thought-provoking questions including: How do we transition from traditional views of mental disorders to a holistic perspective of mental health and wellbeing? How are social determinants and pathologies evolving and what roles do they play for mental health and community responses? In what ways do global crises impact public and mental health? What is the socio-economic impact of mental illness? How can we integrate traditional epidemiological methods with innovative approaches including cohorts and biobanks in search of molecular fingerprints of happiness and wellbeing? How can we shift from repairing to preventing policies that promote human flourishing and overall wellbeing? Can we reframe mental health services and shift focus from mental sickness to health?"

Global Health - Science Policymaking - Space Technologies
Since 2019 our focus included the sustainable development of healthcare through Global Health Advocacy. As an SDG3 expert at the World Health Innovation Summit, Miriam Lee worked on mandates for Pope Francis COVID-19 commission's Corona Perspectives team in 2020, 25+5 SDG Cities Leadership Platform at World Economic Forum Davos and World Urban Forum 11. She is active in R&D of neuro-acoustic brain health technologies, a member of the UNOOSA-WHO Taskforce Working Group on #Space technologies for the Advancement of Global Health , working with space agencies on the peaceful use of outer space (COPUOS).
Eco-Awareness & Inner Practice for Conscious Development
We are dedicated to developing new insights into how the processing of sounds and music in the environment can influence our nervous system and different states of consciousness.
Acoustic and vibrational influences affect self-awareness and play a crucial role in our relationships with ecosystems. We relate to our environment through our senses and perception. Music can support self-awareness, inner development and the connection between inner and ecological awareness. Used in a resourceful way, music can strengthen our resilience and manage distress.
The Performing Arts
The creative performing arts - especially music - have accompanied Miriam in her career, with an extensive former track record at the intersection of film music, pop-rock, classical music performance, sound therapy, and psychoacoustics. Find out more about music projects, recordings, performance collectives and concerts.

With an in-depth background in mental health as well as global health, our broader mission is to advance transdisciplinarity in medicine and innovate the landscape of healthcare. Music and its effects on the human mind and body are still heavily underrepresented in healthcare, and in education. We worked on this issue with the World Health Innovation Summit CIC, a network where consultants, companies, and academics collaborate to improve access to healthcare and literacy. With WHIS we partnered with the UN-Habitat, UN Academic Impact, Interparliamentary Union, and WHO. Our shared mission is to assist and accelerate the SDG implementation process and ensure the world reaches its goal, at the latest by 2030. The implementation of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals springs from the belief shared by United Nations officials, senior business leaders, investors, and NGOs that a transparent, academically driven index is needed to rank companies and countries on their sustainability practices.
